Claire, has spent her life surrounded by kids, both while working in a nursery school and as a Mom of three. She found joy in children's endless energy and unique personalities and perspectives. With her lifelong love of writing, she set out to create books that are both educational and exciting, helping young readers build skills while having fun.

With playful characters and gentle lessons, Claire creates stories that parents love reading aloud and children can’t wait to experience again and again.

Sharon McKenna began her art career early in life; her bedroom walls were peppered with drawings of her swing set and her siblings. Always feeling most at home in an art class, she enrolled in the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan, earning a BFA in illustration. Sharon is also a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology’s MFA program in the School of Design. She currently works as a freelance illustrator and lives in Northern Virginia with her family.
